It’s not often I travel to one of the world’s most beautiful places review a gas detector! But given the claims and discussions surrounding Blackline’s G7, we felt the Sierra de Tramuntana would be a great starting place to test both performance and connectivity. And trust – there’s a lot to talk about when I get back to the office!
Gas utilities globally receive thousands of reports of suspected gas escapes (PRE’S) each day. Most are found and resolved within a few hours, but occasionally PRE’s take weeks and even months to resolve. Substances such as petrol, kerosene, liquid petroleum gas (LPG), mine drainage gas, bio-gases from landfills – sewers and bio-digesters, paint thinners, foam blowing agents etc can all confuse the unsuspecting gas tester.
